TOT's Last Performance

I don't think I mentioned in the earlier posts that Zayne was apart of Teams of Tomorrow (TOT).  TOT is a unique ball handling, motor development, and fitness program for preschool students ages 3-5.  However, TOT encompasses so much more!  Academic readiness skills are also targeted to help prepare the student for a successful transition into the school setting.  Preschool educational concepts are intergraded into movement with basketball skills. What makes TOT so unique is the development of self-esteem and self confidence that a child attains through the classes.

Below are some pictures from Zayne's first performances. This one was at a local high school during the girl's basketball half time.  Zayne lost his basketball a few times, but it sure was precious to watch!

Zach's Science Project

Zachery searched his "Dangerous Book For Boys Book" for idea's for his science project and he choose electromagnetism.  He read the instructions made a magnet and conducted different experiments on how much the magnet could pickup and what type of materials.  We took tons of pictures, posted them on a display board with what he did ... and he got second place in his first grade class.  Very fun!!
