Zayne's 1 Month Checkup

I am not sure how long I have before Zayne wakes up from his morning nap wanting to eat, so I will type fast. Hopefully their will not be a lot of misspelled words or words missing. Well the last 2 weeks have been crazy! Last Tuesday Zachery went to the Arboretum with some friends and there was face painting, as you can see Zachery got his face painted as Superman. He had a blast and it was a big deal for Zach to get his face painted since he associated face painting with the "scary boys" at the park from Halloween last year. So swimming lessons following the first night went well, we had to give him an incentive to go, but he went and had a GREAT time! He blew bubbles, put his eyes in the water, reluctantly kicked and floated on his back, and played ring-around-the roses. So each class has been an adventure, but we are getting through it!! We also fed the ducks this week, which was a big hit with Zachery, I haven't heard him laugh that hard in a while!! We are not sure what was so funny, but it was so nice to hear him laugh as hard as he did!! We also have so pictures of Zachery's building skills with his Trio's, there is a picture of his rockets and of Rodney from the movie Robots. We are just loving his imagination right now!!

Let's see, Zayne caught the virus Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV), praise the Lord that he didn't have to hospitalized! But it has definitely taken a toll on me and Charlie!! Aunt Becky was in town this week visiting us and I am not sure what we would have done if she wasn't here to help us! Yesterday we had to go to the Children's Medical Hospital to get chest X-Ray's for Zayne and the RSV test done, then blood work. It was a crazy day, but at least we know that it is a virus and not pneumonia. But Zayne is growing like a weed, he was 23 3/4 inches long and weighed 11lbs 1oz at his 1 month wellness checkup. So at least he is eating and growing!! (If you were wondering Zayne is exactly 1 inch longer than Zach at this age and about a 1/2 lb lighter, but he is catching up fast in the weight department, I guess we will be growing out of our clothes faster with this one....)

Enjoy the pictures!! There is one of Zayne in his car seat with tons of toys, Zachery was wanting to share his toys with his baby brother, it was very sweet! Zachery is very gentle with Zayne and understanding. We are truly blessed to have two wonderful sons!!
