This post will summarize all the things Zachery is doing now! As you know he has been taking swimming lessons. He is very comfortable blowing bubbles and kicking. He gets very distracted during swimming lessons, there is just way to much going on! He has learned to monkey monkey along the side of the pool. He did 5 "bobs" and blew bubbles, very exciting!! We actually went swimming today as a family and he started crying when we had to get out, it was so sad. Charlie has really been working with Zach on his letters and he knows about half of them now, it is so neat!! We have been teaching him the sound of the letter and Charlie said that when they were at the hotel swimming pool last week, he said 4 f t and sounded it out. So Charlie told him that it said 4 feet and the next day he remembered and said 4 feet. How cool is that??? So we finished making the sand paper letters today in order to help him write the letters. Other than that he continues to enjoy playing ALL sports. We have looked into getting him involved with a soccer team. He is dribbling the ball and trying to stop it with his feet, it is very neat to watch him! Well I hope to update again soon after our trip to Iowa in a couple of weeks!

Stories
Is it amazing how when funny things happen you think I can't forget this and I need to write it down that that never happens then time passes and you think about all the funny stories that you want to share and they totally flee your mind???!! I truly hate that ... but Charlie was able to think of a couple stories that we have to share with you!
We haven't started potty training, yet, and Zachery really hasn't shown any interest in it, yet. But when he has pooped he will say "uh oh, poop" and when Daddy or Mommy are done changing his diaper he will say "all done poop".
As everyone knows Zachery's favorite movie is Cars, so naturally Lightning McQueen is one of our favorite characters. So as we have told you before he doesn't like it when he is not wearing his Lightning McQueen shirts. This was further emphasized the other day when Charlie had laid out his clothes for the day and Zachery saw them and noticed the shirt did not have Lightning McQueen or any of the other Cars characters. He proceeded to take his clothes back to the closest and letting Daddy know that he wanted to wear Lightning McQueen. He has also taken out his dirty Lightning McQueen shirts from his hamper ....
He loves saying ... "Hold You", it is very sweet! He also, knows the golden arches very well. When we pass McDonald's he will say "McDonald's French Fries" over and over again. Anyways, here are a couple of pictures to enjoy. The cow below was a fun birthday present from a good friend of mine and for some reason for about a week Zachery carried that thing around with him like it was his dog, it was hilarious!! And one night after bath Charlie was combing Zachery's hair and he gave him the feathered look ... we thought he could try out for Grease, all he needed was a leather jacket and some tight jeans. We were laughing so hard! Guess you had to be here :)

Easter
OK I just realized how far behind I am with the website, so I am going to publish a couple of "posts" for your viewing pleasure. Easter weekend was very busy, but a wonderful and blessed busy. We had friends over Friday evening, which was a blessing because we haven't been able to hang out with them in a while and Zachery absolutely loves playing with Ava. Saturday morning we had breakfast with his good friend Sammy and I was able to hang out with his mom, which is always FUN!! We went to our church for the annual Easter Eggstravaganza. As you will see from the pictures below Zachery and Sammy started their Easter egg hunt, but Zachery realized that the eggs could open and the race for who ever could get 13 eggs the fastest was over! Zachery was far more interested in opening the eggs for candy! Then on Sunday we had church and then friends over for dinner. It was a very busy weekend and Zachery slept very well Sunday evening!
