Zachery's swimming lessons are going very well! He loves to kick on his back and front with Ms. Lia holding him. He loves to monkey along the pool wall and jump into the water to Ms. Lia. Ms. Lia has been working on blowing bubbles, which has been difficult for us to grasp. We just can't learn that we need to "blow the candles out" in the water and not on top of the water. I haven't been very good about practicing, but he is having fun! He didn't even want to get last swimming lesson. It truly is amazing how much these little guys absorb!! Until next month ...

The Start of Summer
Oh the weather of Texas, one day it is 32 degrees the next 80. Spring is nonexistent here, it is just summer and what we, Texans, call winter. Anyways, I think Zachery is really looking forward to summer! He loves filling up his pool with water and putting his toys in it. When he gets in, sometimes he will shiver and say "Brrrr". He has enjoyed playing in his sandbox. Let's see, as you can see from the pictures below he enjoys helping mommy make cookies, especially since he gets to lick the beater! I am not sure if I mentioned this in my last blog, but it is true, when people say kids start talking over night, they literally mean over night! Zachery says all kinds of stuff and he is speaking in sentences, but we still don't fully understand (yet)! As everyone knows Zachery loves cars and he loves the movie "Cars" with Lightening McQueen and Mater. Well we were in the Disney store last weekend and they were having a sale on t-shirts so we picked him up 3 "Cars" t-shirts. Charlie put the first one on Zachery Tuesday. When it was time to take a bath Zachery screamed! Charlie said the only way he could get the kid in the tub was to show him the 2nd shirt ("Ramone") that he could wear after his bath. Apparently, it was the fastest bath Zachery has ever taken. Needless to say the same thing happened this morning, convincing him to change shirts. So I guess my question is at what point does "obsessed" take on a whole new meaning?
