Other Adventures

While we had company last week, we (of course) went out to Fort Worth to see the Cattle Drive, which is where the first two pictures were taken.

Zachery finished his first season of Small Fry T-ball, he was very excited about his trophy! He is already signed up for Small Fry soccer in the fall, but it doesn't start until the end of September.

One morning while we were eating breakfast we had a little friend that decided to join us on the porch. He just sat there and ate his acorn. It was so cute. So we all stopped and watched him eat his breakfast before we finished ours.

So last night when we were showing off our new shed to some friends, they notice a HUGE bee hive in one of our trees. YIKES!!! Charlie is calling the City tomorrow to find out what we need to do about it!! I was wondering where all the dead bees in the blow up pool and around the yard were coming from ... We will keep you updated!!

Shed

Our niece and soon to be nephew-in-law came down to help us build a shed in order to store our "stuff" that is currently in the garage. We just don't know when the roof will cave in or when the wind will knock the garage down. Anyways, it looks amazing!! We still have a little bit of work to go, but I had to post the progress. Charlie and Zach started by putting rock down in the back corner of our yard. Then the first day they had the frame built! Then on the second day the sides were up and the framing for the window and roof was built (sorry I am not sure of the technical term for "the framing of the roof"). Then on Wednesday they put the window in, roof and weather paper on. What we still need to do is put the vinyl siding up, build the door and attach it, then put the organizational units inside in order to maximize space. It is very exciting!! We also have a couple of cubic yards of rock that we need to try and make a design with inside the exisiting rock with some fun plants. All we need now is a waterfall swimming pool with exterior lights and our backyard oasis will be complete, laugh out loud, just kidding!!

4 Month Well Visit

Zayne had his 4 month old well visit this past month ... he was 27 3/4 inches long and weighed 16 pounds 9.5 ounces. He is measuring off the charts for his length and pretty high on the weight. He is rolling over like crazy now a days! And laughing alot, especially at his brother. In both videos below you have to listen closely because Zachery's laughter is very loud, but Zayne is actually belly laughing and it is hilarious! Zayne loves his brother ... especially when he scares him a little by jumping towards him.
