ZAYNE'S 5TH BIRTHDAY PARTY
Zayne turned 5 this month, can you believe it?? He wanted a baseball themed birthday party ... so for the invitation we sent cute little baseballs with tags with all the specifications. Thanks to Pinterest for all the great ideas!! He wanted macaroni and cheese with chicken nuggets for his meal and cupcakes for desert. We had a jump house for the kids to play in, which really wasn't that great of a hit. Charlie and I were trying to figure out why he wasn't very excited about his birthday party ... well after everyone left we took his temperature and found out that he was sick! We felt horrible!! He did his best to put a happy face even when he opened his presents!! Yes, you guessed it ... his favorite present was the batman costume with gloves, batman discs, and mask!! He seriously wore this costume everywhere for the first month or so ... as you can see it was a little big, which added to the humor.
SPRING BREAK
We went on a Caribbean Cruise for Spring Break 2015! It was a bright and early morning of March 9th when we drove the four hours to the Galveston Port. But we were packed and ready to go ... it was a lot of waiting around and in lines when we finally were able to find our room and put our stuff away. The boys chose which bunk bed they wanted to sleep in and wanted to go swimming right away. Did I mention that it was a little chilly in Texas when we boarded, but whatever they are fearless and I don't the cold bothers them anyways!
First Day was a fun day at sea - we enjoyed swimming A LOT!! And even was able to make the Cat in the Hat show!! Zachery loves to try and dance. He will watch people dancing and try and mimic them. I hope the video catches some of his dance moves.
Second Day was a fun day on the beach in Costa Maya. The boys were busy playing the water, building sand castles and making new friends.
Third Day was an adventure day in Cozumel. We actually did an adventure in Cozumel call the Amazing Race of Cozumel. It was funny because all our personalities came out, as our competitiveness also came out!! Poor Zayne was getting so tired by the end of the Race, but he was a trooper and made it! It truly was a lot of fun! Zayne chose as his special gift in Cozumel a sword and Zachery chose a HUGE hat!!
Fourth Day we visited the ancient ruins in Progreso. It was so HOT! So Zachery's hat really helped keep the sun out of his eyes.
Fifth Day and finally day was another fun day at sea ... we swam, played on the obstacle course, ping-pong, putt-putt golf, explored the ship and ate a lot of food. The boys also enjoyed the kids camp area where they were able to play with kids their own age and play video games. We actually stayed up late this last night to watch a movie on the swim deck ... but didn't stay for the entire movie, since it was hard to hear and see. Oh well ... we tried and lots of fun!! I think there were lots of tears on the drive home.
AROUND THE HOUSE
Some other adventures we had around the house was our trip to the barber. Jay loves going to this barber shop down the street, for a good old chat with the men. The boys seem to enjoy it as well. Zachery has started to want to grow his hair out ... so maybe he doesn't enjoy it as much as he says he does.
These next pictures are of Zayne, just wanting me to take pictures of him as we are playing at the Chik-fil-A play area with his friends. It really has been a fun year meeting our neighbors and his new friends! He is so silly! I love it!
I think this is going to be our last season to play soccer, well at least with this team and coach. Zayne is just not excited about playing soccer anymore. In fact, he cries every time I say we have to go to practice or a game. We will finish out the season, but I think it is time to move on - for both Zachery and Zayne.

We had another GREAT adventure this month .... seriously, I am exhausted just writing this post! We went to the Shrine Circus!! The boys had a blast and our favorite part was not only the motorcycles but also the human cannon. The video of the human cannon was to long to post, but it was very intense and a VERY LONG build up for a five to ten second shoot out of the cannon into a net! There was so much happening I forgot to take pictures ... but I was able to get a video of the motorcycles below.
