Wieland Family Christmas 2010

Every year we head up to Iowa for the Annual Wieland Family Christmas the weekend before Christmas. We flew into Kansas City where we met my brother (who flew in from Washington State) and then drove the 3.5 hours to Iowa. We enjoyed a full day of visiting with family before we had the BIG Christmas Party on Saturday. There were tons of family, food, and FUN!! A beautiful slide show was put together by Charlie's niece, Angie, presenting tons of photographs from Grandma and Grandpa's wedding and early days of marriage, pictures of each child and fun times growing up. There were pictures of each child's wedding, pictures of each of the grandchildren and great grandchildren. It truly was amazing, I can only imagine the time it took to put that all together!! I spoke with Angie and she said that she lost the original and had to reassemble the whole presentation. UGGG!!! But she said that it was easier to put together the second time around. In the middle of the presentation Santa Clause came to deliver presents ... I can't believe that Zachery actually sat on his lap, but he did! Then after all that the kids were invited to hit a pinata! At Zachery's second turn he broke it open ... he was so excited about breaking the pinata that he could have cared less about the candy!! He went around telling everyone and showing everyone how hard he hit the pinata!! It was very humorous!! We left already the next day, but it was so good to be with family!!
