Our Family Christmas 2010

We were so excited about Christmas this year because Zach is getting to that age that he understands what presents are, the meaning behind Christmas, and giving (well maybe not totally, but at least we are trying to learn the concept). Our Christmas morning started early, I think around 6am. Zayne was awake and it didn't take long for him to wake up his brother with his loud squeals and noises! When Zach woke up we opened his and Zayne's stockings. We anxiously awaited Charlie to wake up .... so we could open our stockings, which was so fun!! We were able to play with our stocking gifts for a little while. At 8am we ate breakfast and enjoyed a Danish and Garmisch Nut Stollen with strawberries and banana's. It was yummy!! Everyone was so patient as we cleaned up from breakfast. Then the fun began as we started opening presents one by one ... Zachery helped open everyone's present, like I said it was very exciting!! Zachery loved his new Construction blocks and microscope slides! Grandma gave them a remote control helicopter and that continues to entertain the boys! It was a big hit!!! It was pointless buying Zayne anything this year because truly all he wants to do is bug his brother and play with his (Zach's)toys. We stayed in our PJ's all day until dinner time because after dinner we went over to some friends house to have desert and enjoy Christmas with them! It truly was a beautiful day to celebrate the birth of Jesus, thank you Lord!!
