Bee Hive Update

The picture below with the active bee hive is what it looked like right before the "bee exterminator" sprayed the hive. I am not sure if you can tell, but the honey was starting to weigh alot and was starting to grow the hive downward. It was so cool! So when the bee exterminator got to our house he told us that this bee hive would normally cost 3 to 4 times the amount that was quoted, YIKES!! But he was very nice and told us that he would go ahead and do it for that price. So he raised his ladder, which we found out later was resting only on a twig. He put his suit on and with his pesticide in hand climbed the ladder and sprayed the hive. The bees went crazy and then start falling to the ground. Apparently, the birds find them very appetizing. So the bee hive fell down over time due to the rain or wind. What an adventure!

The pictures of Zach in a safari jeep and an elephant was at the new exhibit at the zoo, which opened in May 2010 (I think), but we didn't make it until August 2010. It is amazing!! He was able to feed a giraffe some lettuce, which was very fun!! Hopefully I will be able to get a picture of that next time! And the video is of Zachery making Zayne laugh, which is one of the joyous sounds in the world!!
