NHE Open House
It was fun to visit Zach and Zayne's school classrooms. They both had so much fun showing us their desks and projects that they were working on or completed.
Zayne's Birthday
Zayne wanted to celebrate by going bowling and eating a cookie cake, which was made by mom (me). He also asked for an art set with canvases. He is a very good artist!! At the moment, the boys have been enjoying getting fun coupons from Mom! Like coupons to get out of chores for a day or a coupon for an ice cream. Anyways, they have been cute asking for these special coupons.
Zylie Turns 1
Zayne helped me pick out a cake for Zylie's first birthday. She is so cute and I am so thankful Zach and Zayne are two of the best big brothers! They really adore her and ... well, she absolutely adores them! They keep her going and she strives to keep up with them. I know I can't ask for anything more, they help so much with her!!

Zayne's Soccer Season
Zayne decided to play soccer again and he seemed to really enjoy it! This time the team was filled with friends from Northwood Hills Elementary School, yay! We loved hanging out watching him!!

Spring Break
We spent our spring break in Boston. Rented a beautiful home, literally in view of Bunker Hill monument. It was three stories, the first was the living, dining, and kitchen. The second floor had three bedrooms and a bathroom and the third had the master bedroom suite. It was very cold, but we were determined to visit as many museums we could and of course Jay's Uncle David who lives in Danvers, MA.
On one evening after we were cooped up all day, the boys and I took an adventure, a mile adventure! It was cold, very windy, and slushy!! We had to cross a bridge that had a lot of grates, so it was a little unnerving seeing the freezing cold water below and cars are zooming past you!! But we made it and had some good people watching. Anyways, boys I hope you don’t forget that fun adventure!
The USS Constitution Museum is located in the Charlestown Navy Yard, which is part of the Boston National Historical Park in Boston, Massachusetts, United States. The museum is situated near the ship USS Constitution at the end of Boston's Freedom Trail. The museum is housed in a restored shipyard building at the foot of Pier 2. The museum, through its collections and interactive exhibits, tells the story of Constitution ("Old Ironsides") and the people who designed, built, and sailed her.
The Bunker Hill Monument was erected to commemorate the Battle of Bunker Hill, which was among the first major battles between British and Patriot forces in the American Revolutionary War, fought there June 17, 1775. The 221-foot (67 m) granite obelisk was erected between 1825 and 1843 in Charlestown, Massachusetts, with granite from nearby Quincy conveyed to the site via the purpose-built Granite Railway, followed by a trip by barge. There are 294 steps to the top.
It is snowing!!!
Here is some fun information about this monument: The National Monument to the Forefathers, formerly known as the Pilgrim Monument, commemorates the Mayflower Pilgrims. Dedicated on August 1, 1889, it honors their ideals as later generally embraced by the United States. It is thought to be the world's largest solid granite monument.
Plymouth Rock is the traditional site of disembarkation of William Bradford and the Mayflower Pilgrims who founded Plymouth Colony in 1620. The Pilgrims did not refer to Plymouth Rock in any of their writings; the first known written reference to the rock dates to 1715 when it was described in the town boundary records as "a great rock."
Just hanging at the house!
We couldn’t go to Boston without visiting the Samuel Adams Brewery! This is actually a funny story! The whole city was on “shut down” because the forecast was calling for a major snow storm and all the places we were wanting to go were closed, but the brewery was opened! So when we arrived it wasn’t snowing but when we left it was starting to snow, big flakes!! It was so fun!!
We drove by M.I.T. And Harvard, it was so much fun!!
