Grandma's 75th Birthday Party

At the beginning of September we went back to Iowa for Grandma's 75th birthday. Grandma knew that we were having a party, but she didn't know that almost everyone ... wait I think everyone was there! Meaning all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. We had a BLAST!! I can't remember who won the baseball game, but it doesn't matter, it was just fun to be with family!! But I have to brag on Zach, when they pitched the ball to him (if I remember correctly) he hit the ball without any help!! YEAH!!! What we need to work on is his running. The way he runs is HILARIOUS!! I hope to get that on video soon!!

That was our first long driving trip with Zayne. He did a GREAT job, but just like the rest of us was ready to be out of that car!! He is just a little more vocal about it :)

Zach absolutely adores his cousin's!! He loves people and his little personality comes out whenever he is around tons of kids. In one of the pictures below Zach is looking at one of his cousins pet crab, notice his fists they are clutched tight ... he is a little bugged about bugs (or crawling things). Yes, it is hard to get a good picture of Zach because he loves to make faces and be silly.

He was asked if he would be the ring bearer in one of cousins wedding, she told him he will wear a suit and walk down the aisle. He thought about it for a moment he said, "do I get to a wear a helmet too?". Thinking that he was going to be wearing an astronaut suit. I just love how the mind of a child works!!
